Adult Stand Up Comedian Wanted For An Event In Leuchars, Scotland - 11^th December 2024

I am Sgt Damian Atkin from the Welfare department of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards in Leuchars, Fife. Each year the troops from the regiment )approx. 300 personnel) march to the local church for a fun Christmas service and upon return to camp and, as tradition amongst the Army stands, are served their Christmas Dinner from the Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of the regiment.

Usually the meal was completed and each rank group returned to their respective messes for an afternoon/evening of drinks before everyone was stood down for leave the following day, but last year a new tradition was started with the attendance of a comedian who performed a set for the troops after they have eaten their Christmas dinner.

Then as a guest of the regiment, the individual was taken around the messes to speak to the troops, finishing in the Officers Mess as a guest along with the Senior NCO's where food was served and more drinks included.

The event would be from approx. 1400hrs for a standard set. With the guest staying as long as they wished. Overnight more than welcome.

Accommodation and feeding would be provided at the regiments arrangements whilst on camp.
