Small Jazz/Motown/Blues/Classical Band Required For Centennial Celebration In Detroit - Date To Be Confirmed In 2025

We are a non-profit located in Detroit, MI 48201, and we have our centennial celebration in about a year. We're looking for 2 small music acts to provide background music for the on site event. This would be for a dinner crowd of about 400 people, and additional visitors floating in and out over the course of the 6-hour duration. The current months that we have staked out are between August and early October 2025. Dates will be finalized in the coming months.

The idea is that one band would be playing indoors, providing background music for guests perusing the gallery and theater area that we have. The other band would be outside, under a large event tent, entertaining the dinner guests. You would be playing for no more than 4 hours, likely 3, as there will speeches and presentations.

As music genre goes we are looking for Jazz, Motown, Blues, or Classical, nothing too intense.

Band size no larger than 4 people. Smaller band indoors. Larger band outside.

We are looking for interest, availability, and price quotes. Also, somewhere we can go to sample your music would be helpful.
