- Female Drummers, Guitarist, Keyboardist and Bass GuitaristCASTING:
Seeking professional, female identifying musicians (drummer, guitarist, keyboardist and bass guitarist) to be a part of an all-female rock band line up for their 2023 tour of The Hen House. This is a dynamic theatrical work therefore professional experience playing in a theatre setting is highly desirable. Must be available for Rehearsals from 16 August, Premier Season from 4 September at Riverside Theatre, Touring regional NSW till 23 September.
ABOUT:
A theatrical and musical romp with storytelling, THE HEN HOUSE is a female led new work exploring themes of class, migrant diaspora and feminism in the strange and bloody world of a chicken processing factory. Featuring original music inspired by 1970's Aussie Rock and Ballad. Created by an award winning team including Josipa Draisma, Mara Knezevic & Sime Knezevic. Directed by Anthea Williams. Musical Direction by Zeljko Papic.
