Singer/Pianist Required To Lead Choirs In Worcestershire

Are you a versatile and creative musician looking for a new career in teaching and performing? We are currently seeking a talented and inspiring musician to train as one of our unique Choir Leaders to run choirs in or near Droitwich Spa & Studley. Exciting and life-affirming, We are looking for new talent to join the existing team to lead and inspire communities across the UK. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK offering a non-audition, inclusive amateur singing experience. Now, with 25000 members and a team of 100 dedicated individuals, it has celebrated 17 years of life-changing experiences, winning numerous awards for its standards of excellence and dedication to communities and charities country-wide.

As a Rock Choir Leader, you will be fully trained for the role and will need a high standard of piano and vocal skills (Equivalent to ABRSM grade 5). You will also need a positive and energetic approach to work and a caring, happy and charismatic personality.

The role of a Rock Choir Leader is versatile encompassing teaching, performing, leading, conducting, planning and administration. It is very fulfilling and rewarding but hard work! Choir rehearsals take place in term time evenings and mornings with events and performances taking place inside and outside that timetable. There are many opportunities for the Rock Choir Leaders to perform on TV, Radio and on stage at large pop-concerts including The London O2, Wembley Arena and The NEC Arena. There is a supportive and friendly HQ team who organise events, marketing, training, resources and create all the musical arrangements and resources you will need.

You also have the chance for career development in specialist areas once you are settled as a choir leader.

Own car and portable piano and PA are essential.

If you can't see past your summer schedule or your end of year exams do apply now as training will take place after these commitments with the aim of leading your choirs from this September. We will also contribute towards your travel expenses for the interview.
