Circus, Specialty & Burlesque Acts Wanted For Shows In Canada
- Seeking specialty acts for large scale shows in Sudbury, ONLooking for daring and creative talent for 2023 upcoming shows "A TEASE THROUGH TIME" happening May 4,5,6 and “MONSTER'S BALL 7 : CURSED IN CARNIVAL LAND" happening October 26,27,28 at The Grand Theatre in Sudbury, Ontario Canada.
Looking for performers of all genders, ages, backgrounds and body types and specifically looking for striptease acts (classic to neo-burlesque), drag, circus and specialty acts (free-standing apparatuses only). Acts that are theme-specific and most appropriate for a large stage show and a 600+ audience will be more heavily considered.
*Must be 19 years +. G Strings and pasties are required of all participants.
Selected traveling acts will be compensated in full for their travel costs and accommodations and will receive a $60 CAD per diem per day plus their particular artist fee per night. The artist fee will be set by the artist and submitted to the producer via their application. If accepted, all performers must be available to perform for all three nights of each show run.

Looking for creative acts that can bring to life a range of different eras from Prehistoric, to the Victorian period to contemporary times, and even the future! Don’t be afraid to think outside of the box as well! Also looking for acts that embody iconic people, moments and inventions in history, as well as reference time-travel movies or have an even larger overarching concept that relates to time travel.
MONSTER’S BALL 7 - “CURSED IN CARNIVAL LAND” Oct 26,27,28 2023

“Monster’s Ball” is Sudbury Burlesque’s annual Halloween extravaganza garnering over 600 patrons a night! Welcoming bizarre, spooky, sexy, and campy acts that can fit into the cursed carnival theme. Think funhouse mirrors, haunted houses, carnival games, creepy clowns, fortune tellers, sideshow acts and anything and everything circus!
