Actor / Bagpiper Wanted For An Event In Broughton, Scotland - 10^th September 2025

We’re organising a special evening in a house we’ve rented near Skirling, on Wednesday, September 10th and we’re looking for a performer to help us create a fun and memorable moment.

One of our friends will officially become a “Lord” during this trip (through the symbolic land ownership scheme) and we’d love to mark the occasion with a short, theatrical inauguration ceremony — something humorous, playful, yet a bit ceremonial in tone.

We’re thinking of a 30-minute performance, ideally with a character who could act as a master of ceremony — perhaps in costume, giving a speech, delivering the “title,” and playing with the theme of nobility and Scottish tradition.

If possible, it would be amazing to combine this with a bagpiper, even just for a short musical introduction or finale. If you work with a piper or know someone who could join you, we’d be happy to receive a quote for both options (just the performance, and performance + bagpiper).
