I've been with EW about two year and I can tell you I have received more traffic and reached more people than I have with other sites combined. Referrals to my website daily, gig inquiries and just getting my brand in front of eyeballs is what it's all about! Over the past few years, I’ve subscribed to one or two ‘we’ll get you gigs’ websites, most of them send a daily list of poorly paid ‘cabaret’-type gigs; one was even for a ‘Children’s Party Face Painter’ at £15 per hour. I don’t think so. These are absolutely no use to me.
Entertainers Worldwide only send what I’d call the ‘proper’ gigs, i.e. the type I enrolled for in the first place. Corporate awards, gala dinners (some of these are overseas – which is not a problem) and the ‘classy’ high-end events I was looking for from the outset.
