Actor Wanted For Musical In New York - 10th May 2026
I’m an independent filmmaker and theatre-maker, based in Queens, New York.
I am in pre-production for a low-budget musical, entitled The Gospel According to Mary of Nazareth. This stage play is the spirited musical testimony of the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ through the eyes of His blessed mother.
The musical is 1.5 hours in duration, and Joseph appears (speaks, sings, or dances) in three scenes in Act I.
The nightly rehearsals will be virtual until the week of March 22nd (3/22 - 3/28) and the week of March 29th (3/29 - 4/2), which will be in person, 3-4 days a week, in Queens.
The performance dates are the mothers day weekend and my team and I anticipate +1500 guests in Queens.
