Male & Female Contemporary Dancers Required For Dance Company In Wichita, KS - Submission Deadline June 10, 2024
Dance Company, based in Wichita, KS, seeks two highly skilled contemporary dance artists with a collaborative mindset, proficiency in improvisation and contemporary partnering, and strong performance skills. Positions are available for one male-identifying and one female-identifying dancer. Dancers must be willing to relocate to Wichita, KS for the contract period.
Active approximately 20-25 weeks per year, rehearsing, creating, teaching and touring. The 2024-2025 season approx. contract dates are August 27 – November 3; January 8 – February 16; March 24 – April 27; May 27-June 28. Dancers are contracted for an average of 15-22 hours/week for rehearsals. For dancers with teaching experience, teaching positions are available. Compensation for rehearsals is between $18-$22/hour; for teaching positions between $27-$32/hour.
