Afternoon – Mingling / Welcome Drinks:
• Music: Chillout, lounge, soft deep house
• Volume: Low, suitable for conversation
Dinner:
• Music: Soft background, slightly more melodic
• Optional sing-along instead of traditional drinking songs, for example:
o “Volare” – Domenico Modugno
o “That’s Amore” – Dean Martin
o “Bella Ciao” – Italian classic (fun and unexpected!)
o “O Sole Mio” – instrumental/karaoke version for guests to sing along
After Dinner – Dancing:
• Transition to guests’ preferred playlist
• Styles: 70s, 80s, 90s classics, modern pop, disco
• DJ to manage energy flow, starting with feel-good hits and increasing tempo as the evening progresses
Additional Notes
• Keep music volume comfortable for conversation during dinner, gradually increasing for dancing
• DJ can adapt playlist to guests’ energy and requests
