Holiday Villages are casting for fun and friendly Entertainment Teams. You’ll get to choose from eight resorts across five countries. We’re now accepting both UK and EU passport holders - so what are you waiting for?

This casting AD is aimed towards EU/ROI Passport Holders only for casting in RHODES

All EU Performers need to hold a passport issued within the European Union to compliantly work on the contract as part of the EU Freedom of Movement Act

Please note - as of 30th January 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer deemed as part of the European Union. This applied to ALL British passports, including ones issued before this date, which state European on the cover.

Start Date: IMMEDIATE START/ASAP End of Contract: 31st October 2024 The start date for this contract was the 16th February 2024 - realistically, we work on a case by case basis to get someone to their resort as soon as possible. All rehearsals will be conducted on resort with the team.

For this casting, you will need to have a EUROPEAN/IRISH Passport that has a minimum expiry of 2 years. We do ask that you can confirm in your notes which country of residence your passport is from (Residence of the UK Passports are not valid for this casting) If your Spotlight application is to be successful, we will email you with the self-tape requirements, we may also ask you for proof of your passport at this stage. If your self-tape is to then be successful, you will be invited to an online interview with the Holiday Villages team.


Roles & Responsibilities:
• Start & end of season set up & pack down
• Delivering daytime entertainment, including but not limited to; welcome meetings, radio shows, quizzes, fitness activities, character experiences around the pool & in kids clubs (you will not be required to deliver kids club sessions, this would be character appearances only), pool parties and adult activities.
• Presenting
• Puppetry / Costume character work
• Supporting gameshows
• Performing in all 10 production shows
• Late night entertainment including but not limited to; disco, quizzes, karaoke, solo sets
• AV duties – to cover Technician day off (training will be provided)
• Set up & pack down of each element.
• Guest Interaction & PR is an integral part of this role

Rehearsals
Rehearsals will take part of resort with the Cast on resort at Rhodes.

Do you provide travel, accommodation & food?
Yes, we will provide you with a flight to resort, however, you will be required to make your own way to the departure airport.

Accommodation is provided on a shared occupancy; however, you will have your own bedroom.

Meals are provided.

Pay/Fee
522.50 EUROS (£475) Per week

Rehearsals will be paid 50% of your in-resort salary.
Payments are made on a bi-weekly basis.

In Resort
Working Week & Hours:
You will be contracted to 40 hours per week.
5 daytime shifts & 6 evening shifts per week.

During season, you will accrue 1 x half day per week annual leave. This is scheduled weekly by the on-resort management team.

Long holidays will not be approved during season (unless pre-approved prior to contract signature)

Do you provide flights to & from resort?
Yes, all flights to and from resort*
*Return flights will be provided to your country of residence upon completion of your contract. If you decided to leave mid-contract, you would be responsible for your own transport home.

Do you provide visas/work permits for the country I would be working in?
Yes, all visas and work permits will either be paid for in advanced or reimbursed
*If the engagement is not fulfilled, the company reserves the right to claim for all costs associated with the visa/work permit.

Do you provide medical insurance?
Yes, medical insurance is provided by Allianz.

PRESENTERS - Kos Fly to resort: IMMEDIATE START
(This is due to the Rehearsals already being in process and elements of the contract being live - all rehearsals will be taken place at Kos)

Due to rehearsals already taken place in Turkey, we would work on a schedule with your team to work out rehearsals on resort
